Where are they Now: Check out SET WPC Alumni who are excelling at the Next Level
SET High School Girls:
Our High School Girls training program is focused on providing training that addresses the fundamental skills necessary to have success at any level. SET is compirsed of girls of varying abilities (Forsh/Soph, JV, Varsity Level) from all over South Orange County. Currently, we have 18+ different high schools represented on our club. We encourage all athletes that are interested in training in an environment which focuses on high self esteem, attention to detail and success through psoitive reinforcement to come join us for a workout. If you are interested in our program contact:

Tournaments/ Junior Olympics: We will provide all athletes with the opportunity to compete in each season. Prior to each event we have a sign-up form that is sent via email and hard copy to the parents and athletes. Based on the number of sign-ups dictates the number of teams we send to each tournament. We want all athletes to have the opportunity to receive the rewards and test their new abilities in a competitive environment. We do our best to have teams of similar abilities, which will allow for all athletes to receive playing time.
SET National Team Selection Criteria: This selection criteria is used for tournaments that limit entries or are a National Event where we cannot send multiple teams. Please take a moment and review these criteria if your athlete wishes to participate in these events.
Selection to represent SET Water Polo Club at a major National event is earned by each and every player. It is important for everyone to understand that we are not a win at all costs club or an All-Star team. Our goal is to prepare athletes to succeed at the next level. The following criteria are looked at by the coaches in determining each team:
1) Understanding of our "SET" system of play
2) Team chemistry-How do you fit into the team you are trying out for. Do you have the ability to adapt your game to fill in where the team needs you.
3) Attitude- Are you willing to sacrifice the team for group success vs. individual success?
4) Committment- Do you come to training?
5) Communication- It is the responsibilty of the "athlete", not the parent, to communicate with the coaches regarding play time, missed workouts, expectations, and future opportunities.
6) Performance- How do you perform at each practice. Are you going for it and challenging your teammates?
